BIOGRAPHY - Samuel Arkan
He's founder and active member of metal band VIRUS IV. Samuel has played, written and / or recorded within several bands, such as Uli Kusch's BEAUTIFUL SIN (ex-Helloween & Masterplan). He also collaborated on albums alongside a.o. members of Primal Fear or Anihilator.
He is the creator and composer of the new concept album called ORIGINS, on which he invited prestigious artists like Christophe Godin (Morglbl trio), Kristoffer Gildenlöw (Dial, Pain of Salvation), drummer Léo Margarit (Pain Of Salvation) and vocalists Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Beyond Twilight, Outworld), Oddleif Stensland (Communic), Rick Altzi (Thunderstone, At Vance), Liselotte Hegt (Dial, Valentine), Magali Luyten (Virus IV, Ayreon).
Samuel is endorsed by the internation guitar & basses brand "MAYONES" (ref. - Scorpions, Paradise Lost, Dagoba, My dying bride, ...). After he studies music and its multiple styles, he got solid musical basics, inspired by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Steve Vai,… he turns to progressive music (Pink Floyd, Dream Theater,…) and uses the studio and stage experience shared with other artists to increase his knowledget. He specialised into Rock and Métal developping his own guitar method..
